Kia ora from beautiful Queenstown / Tāhuna! I am a Psychologist providing therapy in Frankton, and I can help you to identify how struggles and patterns might be impacting on you living your life well. We all get stuck, which can make us feel alone and broken. If this is you, then please know you are a certified human being and you are absolutely not alone! Mental health is wealth, so good on you for considering making an important investment!
I work out of my lovely office space in Frankton, Queenstown, and I would be thrilled to help you with your mental health and wellbeing. I will help you figure out what things we can do, learn or change to help your situation - no matter where you are, there are always things we can do to make it better. I have no waitlist, and am almost always able to accept and welcome new clients, both face to face in Queenstown, and online via zoom.
I use evidence-based, effective types of therapy, and my style is very practical - you will always leave our sessions with a plan. If you have been feeling anxious, stressed out, confused, lost, a bit off, depressed, or really any other type of way that you aren’t happy with - its a good idea to talk to an expert about it - AKA me!
It is a brave decision to get therapy, and it is totally normal to feel anxious and unsure of what to expect. It is my job to make you feel safe and supported, by providing a comfortable and trusting, judgement-free environment, where we can work through the issues and achieve your goals (and I am pretty good at this!). Therapy is also a big commitment - your time, energy, trust, and money. I take this commitment and investment seriously, and I will work hard to make sure I honour it.
We all have suffering, this is human, and its my passion to help people turn this pain into growth, and into something meaningful. To do this I use a psychological therapy called ‘ACT’ - Acceptance Commitment Therapy.

Here are the answers to some commonly asked Q’s
-
No. I offer timely, private appointments so you can start therapy when you need it most, without long delays. Sometimes I can literally see you on the day you reach out to me! You can manage all your own bookings via my calendar system, and can see easily what appointments are available without having to ask me when I am free.
-
Yes - many clients use their health insurance to cover part or all of their sessions, depending on their policy. I’m happy to provide receipts and documentation to help with your claim. I have used NIB, Southern Cross, and others.
-
I support adults and couples with anxiety, stress, trauma/PTSD, work challenges, relationship concerns, and life transitions. My approach is practical and evidence-based - you’ll leave each session with strategies you can use right away.
-
Yes. I work with couples on communication, conflict, rebuilding trust, and strengthening connection. Sessions are structured, practical, and tailored to your relationship goals. We go deeper than just communication, using evidence-backed methods
-
I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and other proven methods. My focus is on making therapy useful and tailored to you - not just talking, but creating change.
-
Sessions are $240 (individual) and $260 (couples). My fees reflect a premium service - immediate access, evidence-based care, comfortable office space with parking, and a supportive environment (including a therapy dog, if you’d like).
-
Yes, our office is dog friendly! My therapy dog Piki joins many sessions in my office. Research shows therapy dogs can reduce stress and help you feel more at ease. If you’d prefer a dog-free space, that’s fine too, I will check with you beforehand, I can leave Piki at home if you want to bring your pup, and we have a nice sunny balcony for doggies to chill out on.
-
Yes. I see clients in person in Queenstown and also online via secure video calls. Some people mix both depending on their schedule.

Every person is different, but most clients notice shifts within one session. My style is goal-focused and practical, so you’ll usually leave with strategies to start applying right away.
